Hello,
Took this picture (dorsal view) at Las Chanas (Zamora) Spain, October 13th 2007 at 650 mts. in dry field of calcareous soil.
Im fairly sure its Villa sps. but cant get any further.
I will post a latteral view later on.

Villa sp. Bombyliidae now? strange... The last bombyliid I saw was on 1st October. It was Geron halteralis. Villa species I didn't see them since early September... Frown
Villa species are virtually impossible to ID by photos. (almost)

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
