Yesterday, La Pe?a, Huesca, Aragon, Spain. Pre-Pyrenees. Habitat: prairies with few trees and shrubs, near a very very low and closed river. Size: 11-13 mm more or less. Can belongs to this genus? Thanks |

No, the eyes are hairy: Linnnaemyia vulpina. But you are right, Linnaemyia vulpina can resemble Peleteria extraordinarily ! Theo |

MANY THANKS Theo!!! A new species for my gallery, fantastic! I looked my "Peleteria sp." and it's almost identical to this one, but femora are slender and black.... |
