This week in my garden, Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. Urban garden at 200 meters high in continental-mediterranean climate. The fly sizes about 9-10 mm long. Sucking in flower of Faucaria paucidens. Fit the attention the long black "pterostigma". Thanks regards |

Dasysyrphus, perhaps D. albostriatus but I do not know if it has mediterranean look-alikes.
