I think it is a female but i haven't examined it. I found her prancing around on a mushroom.
She is dark, so D. hydei?

Drosophila repleta: Dark fore foxa, dark spot at tip of Sc, lateral pale spots on abdomen

Drosophila hydei: Pale fore coxa, no dark spot at tip of Sc, no lateral pale spots on abdomen

I have hydei somewhere too but i'm having trouble remembering the year and month.
I have over a million photos and i haven't had time to organize them through the years.
a bit sloppy with my organization of photos.
I'll try to track down hydei. I think it was from last year but my shoulder started hurting last year. I don't remember alot of photo sessions from last year.
