Is this a fannia sp. [species in the Fanniidae family] and can it be determined from the photo? Location: Norway, North-Norway 68degN in the border between Nordland and Troms. Habitat: Near the sea. In grasland/edge of birchforrest. Size: unfortunately not determined. But initially wrongly determined as a small hoverfly. Date: 05.06.2019 Experts have told me that determination can be done by the "spikes" on the legs.. hopefully. Many thanks and many greetings from the cold north. --Rune Kristiansen runetk attached the following image: [215.67Kb] Edited by runetk on 13-06-2019 18:16 |
