Yesterday, Belgium. Could this be Tachina fera? At first, I thought it was T. magnicornis because of the dark 1st tarsus, but the frons/eye ratio points to T. fera I think (frons narrower than the eye).
Your opinions would be appriciated!

It would help to show the antenna, a dorsal view of the head in more closeup and the legs......

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
