Original Title: Ornate Tabanid from Chennai - INDIA Visitor to porch, attracted to tubelight. Body length lesser than 1 cm, IIRC Location: My farmland near Chennai - INDIA. Date: 2018-Oct-15 9:46 to 9:48 PM An Indian Entomologist (facebook) had suggested In/nr Chrysops sp. based only on a small dorsal view. I'm additionally posting here anterior and lateral view.
