 Hello. From southeastern Buenos Aires, Argentina. I guess it's Limoniinae. It measured around 20mm. Does anyone know the genus or species?

 The side view shows that this has long palps - I think it is closer to Nephrotoma (Tipulidae)

 Micha d'Oliveira in the Facebook group "Diptera" just confirmed that the genus is Nephrotoma.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
