do we have an Ulidiidae here ? Close to Tetanops maybe ?

Yes, Tritoxa cuneata Loew according to Steyskal 1967 and my files. It is quite common from NMex and Colo to Texas.

Heya guys has anyone ever seen any Episyrphus balteatus larval development in heart rot before. I've found quite a lot in Fraxinus today with the pupae also! Pfft
