Hello, on first look I thought this was Eriothrix rufomaculata, but on closer inspection it seems not. Perhaps Thelaira sp.? Ca. 8 mm, on Eupatorium cannabinum in our courtyard this afternoon (northwest Germany). I recently found a male Thelaira solivaga. Thelaira doesn't have hairy eyes, r1 has bristles, radial node and part of r45 has bristlets, the costal spine is missing.
