I have found a few of these tiny beetles , 2mm in length , in my garden on Buddleia . They do not have the swollen thighs of most Flea beetles , although they otherwise look like Longitarsus sp .Has anyone got any idea what they might be , any help much appreciated. I live in the suburbs of London , UK.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
