i'm a former zoologist, now living in cambodia... i have a backlog of local dipterans in my files that would like to have names (if possible)... i'll start with the most recent... there are many different asilidae around here, but this is the largest one i've seen... i'll guess at subfamily asilinae - but any directions toward a genus are welcomed...? btw = as a new contributor - how do i get the image embedded in the post...? img + url only gives the link...? https://photos.go...EKRzE7GCXz Edited by gee jay on 16-05-2018 07:37 |

The link now provided does not work (for me, at least). You can attach immages (see FAQ for instructions) or use the img tag (click the little screen button below and paste the image url between the tags). PLease, be advised not all image storage sites will allow the embedding of images on sites like this one and as soon as you edit the image name, move or delete the image, the link to this site will be broken.
