Bibionidae sp.: I saw this March Fly in Tayrona NP, Magdalena province, Colombia date: Jan. 2018 Alt.: approx. <500m Any suggestions as to the genus? Thanks in advance, David P.S. According to the revision by Hardy (1945), this is Plecia plagiata Wiedemann, 1824, which is probably the same as Plecia funebris Fabricius, 1805. |
