Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Schenefeld near Hamburg, earthwall (overgrown with small bushes like hazel, maple, roses, sloes, brambles) under big oakes, at a leaf of hazel, 28th of July 2016, Photos: kuv. hello kuv, this fly is not Polietes in my opinion. The photos are not of the best quality, so it is difficult to judge the fly accurately. I think maybe it is Muscina but it is difficult to tell. Maybe someone can recognize it for you. you should try using flash for cloudy days to help the camera focus on more features. John and Nini. Naturalists not experts. |
