Hello, recently I posted a tiny fly https://diptera.i...d_id=82564 that was identified as Limosininae. Here I found another photo showing the wing venation, supposedly of the same individual. Location: Germany, Berlin: Jungfernheide (Havel), 16.08.2013 I hope it is Limosininae, at least, however, I would be happy to know its genus :-) Thank you for your time! Cheers -guido gbohne attached the following image: [237.5Kb] Edited by gbohne on 21-12-2017 06:58 Guido Bohne |

Thank you very much for correcting ID! to me it resembles Ophiomyia nasuta in the gallery: https://diptera.i...to_id=4484 Is it possibly to judge from this photo (no halteres)? Edited by gbohne on 19-12-2017 18:20 Guido Bohne |

Milos, thank you very much for ID! I learned from old publications that all species of Melanagromyza are internal stem-borers. Is this still true? -guido Guido Bohne |

it is true, e.g. see Agromyzidae (Diptera) of Hungary, Vol.1, 2015. Milos |
