 Reading this article https://www.researchgate.net/publication/282661456_Sibling_species_delimitation_and_nomenclature_of_the_Merodon_avidus_complex_Diptera_Syrphidae, I think it should be Merodon avidus.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
