Good afternoon, Can someone help me identify this fly? I'm uncertain of to which family it belongs, as there are several similar ones. Photos were taken on April 22, near Sintra, Lisbon, Portugal. Thanks in advance for any help. Kind regards, Fernando Fernando Pires attached the following image: [254.82Kb] Edited by Fernando Pires on 18-07-2017 23:40 |

Do you think it might be Poecilobothrus nobilitatus? It seems to fit and its presence is given for Portugal. |
