I took pictures of this mycetophila species on 2nd January 2025 in Den Helder, The Netherlands. I think it is a mycetophila ichneumonea. Can someone please confirm this or tell me which species is this? Thanks a lot. Greetings, Mario Renden

Judging by the shape of the dorsal gonostylus I'd say it is Mycetophila britannica. In Denmark very common - more so than for instance ruficollis. Walther |
