Hello,

Foto: Switzerland, Wattwil, SG, 750m NN, 28.06.17, edge of the woods on Rubus.

Only this view. In the gallery I found: the abdomen is near Oxycera pygmaea.
Who can help?

Thank you.
Regards
Urs

It is in the group with similar species, but according to Rozkosny's key pygmaea had mainly dark legs. Is this your only picture?

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
