Hello, In the south of France, October 5, 2024. This large female, 14 mm long + 1 mm for the ovipositor, was in the compost. I thought about the family Stratiomyidae but I can't find it. Thank you so much Juergen, Sargus bipunctatus larvae live in compost. So that's exactly it. It just needs to take color and that's why it didn't move much. |
