Hello, Isidro! Isidro wrote: My guess is Sicus. If it was photographed here in Germany, I would say Sicus ferrugineus (very frequent here in the last weeks), but I don't know if there are additonal species in your region. About 9000 meters high. Wow! Above Mount Everest level??? ![]() ![]() Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Thanks Juergen!!! It's very probably S. ferrugineus then, is the most common species. I had a mistake with the highness. I want said 900 meters. |

Well, there are more species present in central and southern Europe: S. abdominalis S. alpinus S. fusenensis S. nigritarsis I guess the distinguishing characters can't be seen in the picture. (S. ferrugineus: Theca very short) Germany: all of these species occur in Germany, S. ferrugineus being the most frequent.
