That was quite a puzzle. Thanks for the note on the colouration, by he way. Big clue is that there is only 1 pair of reclinate orbital bristles. The palpus is yellow. So it is a Nilea. THe bristles on the facial ridge do not go up more than halfway, so it should be the male of Nilea hortulana. What bothers me is the broad vertex. Theo |
