This species was feeding on pollen on Oreganon flowers in my garden on 21 April in Heraklion Crete

Hi,

better put this in the "Diptera (adults)" section. I'm not sure, whether the Tachinidae experts often look into the special Syrphidae section Wink.

Hi Jurgen

I think that it is an extreme case of Tachina praeceps because T. paerceps has a variable design of black spots in the abdomen.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
