Limnellia surturi - I think this is new for Spain. Do you have a specimen?

Hi, Tony Excuse my question but, It may be another species of Limnellia? A Spanish dipterologist think that is unlikely to be surturi. If there is the possibility that this was an unknown species I would like to know if I find her again. I could collect it. Thanks. Best regards, Luis |

Hi Luis. Of course there is a possibility you have found a new species, but I think it more likely that this is surturi. Please do collect some if you find them again - it would be good to establish whether surturi does live in Spain.

I collect if I find again. Will be the first living creature that I collect. So far I've only collected dead "bugs". Although it would be wonderful to discover a new species I also think it's more likely to be surturi. Thank you so much for your time, Tony. Best regards, Luis |
