I found this appr. 8-10 mm fly at Leerdam, Netherlands today. It looks like Rhagionidae to me, but I am not sure which genus/species it could be. It had an almost shiny/golden abdomen (somewhat overexposed here because I had to use flash while photographing it). Thanks in advance for any help! Rhagionidae is OK. Clear wings with dark stigma, thorax with broad grey band crossed by thin balck stripe in its middle, it might be Chrysopilus cristatus female. Regards. Stephane. |
