 Possibly another hoverfly. Anyone help with the ID? Again photographed at Martin Mere, Lancashire UK on 26th May 2007

 I'd say these are two pictures of different species of the same genus: top Melanostoma mellinum, bottom Melanostoma scalare, both females.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
