Laphria cf flava a male in a strange location, these creatures prefer wood to sit on..: )

I've seen Laphria only once while sitting on the grass. It was late in the afternoon, no sunshine and fly seemed willing to overnight there: http://www.diptera.info/photogallery.php?photo_id=9290 I would say this specimen is L. flava. Jan |
