Hello all! I think I may have come across a new Morellia species from the Finnish Lapland - at least a new one for Finland or possibly an even undescribed one. In Fauna Europaea and the Central European monograph as well as the new Finnish checklist there are only 5 species in this genus: aenescens, asetosa, hortorum, podagrica and simplex, and I'm positive this species is something else. But does anyone know if there are any publications containing more Morellia species (Nearctic, Far Eastern etc.) Surely these should be checked next. Thanks in advance! |
