I can't work this one out. I thought the terminalia would be distinctive but they don't match any pictures I have, nor did I get anywhere with the key. I was assuming it is male but then wondered is it a female with a v. short ovipositor?

Thorax. Postnotum hairy but hairs pale so not Nigrotipula? It was from rushy pasture, nothing special, in Vaynol Park, North Wales, 21 June 2014.
