Italy, Apennines near Lucca, 370 msl, 1st August.
Valley slope, open woodland, foliage sprayed with dilute honey.
I think this is Xylotachina diluta , note the pale basicosta.
There are unusually just 2 ketepisternal bristles on the left side but the normal 3 on the right side.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
