Hello,
I think this is a Xylota, perhaps Xylota segnis?
I photographed the fly on 17.7.2014 in my garden (Furth im Wald, Bavaria, Germany).

Subfamily and tribe are the same, but this is a Syritta pipiens female

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
