Hi, Today I came across this Sciomyzid on a pond edge. Usually I meet Elgiva cucularia there, but the thorax of this specimen does not look very grey, and the wings seem to be rather hyaline with inconspicuous spots. Elgiva solicita should also have more pronounced wing spots. So how can we name this beauty? Some thorax details - I cannot see the setae on the mesopleura that are said to be typical for Elgiva cucularia...
