I have found this small spider on a buttercup last week near Paris.
I think it belongs to the family Dictynidae. Am I correct? If so, any idea about the genus and/or species?

Hi FRV, looks like a female Dictyna uncinata.

Thanks Eric. This could be this species. The habitus is very variable though. Difficult to say.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
