Does anything beyond Ichneumonoidea can be said of this beauty? I have never seen anything like this one and I am extremely curious.

Taken feeding on Thapsia villosa, in area with mediterranean vegetation in the outskirts of Madrid on 08.06.2013.

Thanks for whatever help!! Smile

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
