Nomenclatura problems

In my keybook (Russia, 1957) with such a long antenae I come to Cerioides conopoides, which name as I can see from i-net not valid anymore. There are Ceriana conopsoides (with resemble but another shape of antenae) and Callicera spinolae (much more hairy). Help me please. Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Although my knowledge of Syrphidae is very limited, I would say try the genus Chrysotoxum. But don't worry, there are enough people who can probably tell you the name of this species immediately. Jan Willem |

Jan Willem is right: this is a species of Chrysotoxum, most probably C. festivum. |
