Could someone please help me identify the dead insect I photographed when it was drifting on the surface of a pond near Bad Münstereifel, Germany (Cologne region) in late June, 2011? I have already asked some of my biologist friends, but they aren't sure because the damaged wings. Thanks a lot for your help.

My thanks go to Poland. I'm very grateful for your help. That's definitely one step forward and I assume that's all that's possible on the basis of the picture. Apologies for the typing errors - I was somewhat in a hurry and had not yet got properly used to my new keyboard with smaller letters.
Kind regards,
Hans Theo K.

Trotzdem gehen wir weiter! Der nächste Schritt: Familie Chrysopidae Wink (Goldaugen). Mehr kann ich nicht vorschlagen. Gruss aus Wroclaw. Andrzej

Nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank
Hans Theo
