This rather large (about 5mm) Cecidomyiidae with white tarsomere was laying eggs on a dead trunc. There were several of them including a male. We've collected a male and a female.

Does someone know the species or literature to key the species?

I think this is probably Winnertzia, based on the venation. I understand the larvae feed on fungi.

Bases on wing venation and short first tarsomere plus biology it should be a Winnertziinae. From what I can find on the internet Winnertzia's are rather small. Maybe another genus from this subfamily?

The best starting point is

Jaschhof, M. and C. Jaschhof. 2013. The Porricondylinae (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae) of Sweden with notes on extralimital species. Studia dipterologica Supplement 20.

According to Jaschhof and Jaschhof Winnertzia is smaller and never has white-tipped tarsi.
