sorry cant give much info other than all photographed in SW london last year this was tiny and on a blossom in my garden  taken in August  taken in October

3. Probably Coenosia mollicula, very variable species. In the forum, I found also similar one with yellow flagellomere (added by Nikita): http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=3330&pid=14566#post_14566 Both could be females of the same species. Martin |

The Macrocera could be M. stigmoides, quite widespread in the UK.

Martin yes that looks identical.Presume 4 is a female as gallery shows male of a species with fancy antennae. |
