This fly, which I believe to be a Exarasilus female, was photographed very close and minutes after that I registered the male shown in picture #5, while she was eating this small wasp. I would like to get confirmation that she is actually a Exarasilus sp. as I suppose. Coordinates of the place where I took this photo: Latitude: -22.538403081866, Longitude: 43.228422403336 Date and time: February 20, 2012 at 12.11pm GMT+3 Thanks for help! Yes, Eraxasilus sp.; the femora are very spiny ventrally, especially the anterior four. Note: I will be away from my computer for the next month... Cheers, Eric |

Just one question, Eric: when you said "next month", means november, or next 30 days? I am asking because I have a lot of pictures of Asilidae to show, and you are giving me a great help with IDs. Thank you, Eric! |
