A Tabanus but I do not know wheter it is possible to ID to species.

Sorry, Valerio, but you are wrong. T. autumnalis belongs to the Tabanus bovinus group, large animals with unbanded eyes... This is common Tabanus bromius for me... Libor |

Yes, sorry but I mis-considered the bands as flashlight/shadow effect (as you can se from the left eye where there's kind of semicircular shape). Watching it carefully reveals that not only the right eye but also the left has a band (symmetrically oriented like the right). Is T. bromius female. |
