Roger, If you ask my opinion, I guess this specimen is most likely the female of Campsicnemus scambus. I said "most likely" so I am not entirely sure, and based my guess on the following characters: 1 female: most European male species have extraordinary modified legs, whereas this specimen has unmodified ones. Only two species in Western Europe have unmodified legs in the male (C. picticornis, C. simplicissimus) but the first has the scape yellow below, and the second has much paler legs. 2 scambus: the face including clypeus is unicolorous and yellowish grey.
