Is there by any chance a harvestmen specialist in the house who can help me with the identification of this small harvestman? Found under a lump of wood in a small piece of wood along the river Linge near Leerdam, Netherlands. I think it could be Lacinius ephippiatus, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance for any kind of help! Jan Zwaaneveld attached the following image: [142.58Kb] http://slamenietd...web-log.nl |

Hello, Jan! Jan Zwaaneveld wrote: I think it could be Lacinius ephippiatus, but I'm not sure. I think it is not "spiny" enough for Lacinius. Looks more like one of the (also much more abundant) species of (Par-)Oligolophus, but I can't say which one. http://www.spider...lophus.htm http://www.spider...lophus.htm Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |
