Xylota for ID, C Spain --> Chalcosyrphus nemorum, male

I think it is Xylota segnis I think the femur bristles are pretty obvious but the the red abdomen patch is orange instead and has a black band. It doesn't fit with any Xylota found in Spain. Can it be just a little aberrant Xylota segnis after all? Taken in mixed river woodland in the outskirts of Madrid on the 2nd May 2012. Thanks for any help!!
