Another Eristalinus seen in a forum in HK. Would it be Eristalinus lugens? Thanks! http://www.hkwild...?tid=65526 |

No, not lugens because the scutellum is orange, while lugens has a dark scutellum. This looks like the male of Eristalinus rufus, described by a Dutch syrphydologist 'van der Goot'. Greetings Greetings, Gerard Pennards |
