Used the "Pollenia key" in "Fauna Entomologica Scandinavica Volume 24".

First one to key out is P. amentaria with "abdomen shining black" and "scutellum with 5-6 pairs of strong marginal pairs of setae".

Different opinions are welcome ...

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
