Me personally, I haven't got a clue . I only take photographs of flies and leave the ID'ing to the experts here on Diptera. info. I suggest you ask ChrisR or Theo Zeegers. |

Dexiosoma is usually best distinguished by the head - the eyes to me always seem smaller in relation to the gena and frons than in Dexia/Dinera. The head shape is also a bit different. Have a look in the gallery and compare images there
