Dear Martin, I disagree with the identity given: to me, this is a female of Dolichopus excisus for the simple reason that its face (and clypeus) is pubescent, the knee of the hind leg is broadly infuscated and, most important of all, its hind metatarsus has two dorsal bristles. It's not D. latilimbatus nor D. nubilus who are similar but lack the broad black knee (only slightly infuscated). Cheers, Marc |
