 From midwest Sweden 2006-10-12 (YYYY-MM-DD). On apples. I think this is a male, family Muscidae or maybe Calliphoridae.

 Muscina (Muscidae)
Slight bend in vein M and reddish tip to scutellum do the trick

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
