Can anyone say whether this Forester moth is an Adscita sp. or a Jordanita sp.? They seem very similar and there are many similar species within these genera, so i'm not expecting a species ID! 29.5.11 c14mm Isle of Lesbos, Greece (just off Turkish mainland). nick upton attached the following image: [110.25Kb] Edited by nick upton on 19-09-2011 23:17 Nick Upton - naturalist and photographer |

I'd suggest Adscita - I believe Jordanita males have more tapered antennae.
