Hello,
I found this little pair of fruit flies in my garden in Lille (Nord, France) on March 8, 2026.
The second photo shows the female just after the male flew away.
I think they are of the genus Drosophila, and as for the species, Drosophila subobscura has been suggested to me.
Do you think it could be this species ?
Thank you in advance for your answers,
Dominique

This could be D. subobscura,as well as some other species of the obscura group. Important characters -male fore tarsi, male and female genitalia, palpi - are not visible.

Thank you, Jan Maca, for these clarifications. So we cannot name a species here, but being able to identify the group is satisfactory.
